At Kambrya College we strive to inspire our whole school community to connect with the environment and to make a positive contribution to sustainability at school, home and beyond.
B. Sustainability Policy
Rationale
In 2019 and 2020, the College has been focussing on completing the Biodiversity module and working towards achieving our third star. Afterwards, the College plans to confront the Electricity module.
As part of those modules, details including costs of electricity, gas, water, recycling, paper usage and waste disposal volumes have been collected and updated regularly online since 2016. The details are evaluated by the sustainability coordinator with the aim to reduce approximately 10% from their overall score each year.
